SSTi provides Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) System Engineering (SE), Flight Test Mission (FTM), and development assistance. This work includes Waterfront Integration Test (WIT), Firing Team Training, associated planning and preparation meeting, underway engineering, data analysis, problem resolution, and engineering recommendation assistance.
SSTi provides FTM scenario development support; Modeling and Simulation (M&S); predictive analysis; dry-run testing; Scenario Certification, Mission Control Panel (MCP), and Mission Requirements Review (MRR) assistance; Crew Brief Reviews; Test Observation Report (TOR), Weapon System Performance Assessment (WSPA), and Computer Program Change Request (CPCR) resolution; as well as other FTM analysis and review assistance. SSTi provides ABMD Fire Control System (FCS) computer program support ncluding MK-99 Doppler Data Collection System (DDCS) Life Cycle Engineering as well as the development of the new Kill Assessment System (KAS) that allows Kill Assessment data to be sent from the Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) Kinetic Warhead (KW) by pointing a Mk-99 Illuminator at the SM-3 during flight.
