• Combat Systems Engineer

  Summary:

  The successful candidate will provide support to the U.S. Navy in performing weapon system performance predictive analysis to determine the feasibility of planned U.S. Navy live firing and fleet exercises and will possess the ability to interpret system requirements, work independently and in a group, maintain and upgrade existing modeling and simulation (M&S) tools.  This position requires a combination of engineering, analysis, coding, and testing. No travel is anticipated.

  Requirements:

  ·       Full time

  ·       Four-year Technical degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or related technical field.

  ·       The technical degree requirement may be waived in lieu of 6 years of Navy combat system engineering, design, coding, or testing.

  Experience:

  ·       Minimum 3 years combat system engineering, design, coding, and/or testing is required

  ·       Design, coding, or test experience with Naval Combat or Weapons Systems including any of the following: Aegis, SSDS, DD(x), LCS

  ·       MATLAB, Ada, C, C++, CMS-2 or JavaScript is desired

• Open Architecture Software Engineer

  Summary:

  The successful candidate will provide support to the U.S. Navy in designing, developing, coding, and testing the next generation of surface combat system.  The candidate will assist in design and interpretation of system requirements to develop application software in support of sensor and track services. This position requires a combination of engineering, analysis, coding, and testing. Occasional light travel is anticipated.

   

  Requirements:

  ·       Full time

  ·       Four-year Technical degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or related technical field.

  ·       The technical degree requirement may be waived in lieu of 6 years of Navy combat system engineering, design, coding, or testing.

   

  Experience:

  ·       Minimum 3 years combat system engineering, design, coding, and/or testing is desired, but not required

• Element Software Engineer (AN/SPY-1)

  Summary:

  The successful candidate will provide support to the U.S. Navy in designing, developing, coding, and testing the AN/SPY-1 radar.  The candidate will interpret system design requirements, assess problem reports, evaluate AN/SPY-1 radar performance, conduct analysis, and testing. This position requires a combination of engineering, analysis, coding, and testing. Occasional travel is anticipated.

   

  Requirements:

  ·       Four-year Technical degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or related technical field.

  ·       The technical degree requirement may be waived in lieu of 6 years of Navy combat system engineering, design, coding, testing or operational experience.

   

  Experience:

  ·       Minimum 3 years AN-SPY-1 and/or radar system engineering, design, coding, testing and/or operational experience is required

  ·       Design, coding, test, or operational experience with Aegis AN/SPY-1 radar  is required.  Design, code, test, or operational experience with MATLAB, AN/SPY-1,  Signal Processor firmware, or ERDDS is a plus.

  ·       Ada, CMS-2 experience is desired but not required

• Software Engineer – System Integration

  Summary:

  The successful candidate will provide Combat System Open Architecture and Aegis System integration support to the U.S. Navy.  The ability to work independently in a laboratory environment assisting application users in a complex multi-processor networked environment is required.  The position will also entail integration of new applications, middleware, and system support software in Combat System environment.  Light travel may be required.

   

  Requirements:

  ·       Shipboard combat system experience is a plus.

  ·       Ada, C, C++, Java, NDDS, UNIX experience is desired

  Summary:
